Local Supply Chain at Bridgwater Gateway Development

Doing the right thing, we continue to support the local economy not only by creating fantastic new buildings for people to work in; but also during the construction of those buildings.

We currently have 31 different companies involved in the current construction activity on site at Bridgwater Gateway, of these over 50% are from Somerset, 30% from Devon, 10% from Bristol, 3% Cornwall with only the steel company coming from outside of the South West, just over into Wales at Newport.

In addition to the economic advantages it also has environmental benefits; in that the number of miles travelled is greatly reduced by those involved in the construction. Greatly reducing the carbon footprint.
